I began my art career in Manila as a fine arts major in advertising and have worked in design studios and advertising agencies as an illustrator, layout artist, visualizer and account service associate. For more than ten years I worked for a management consultancy firm handling various jobs in publications, project and promotions documentation using video and still photography. In 2008, I joined the Natomas Artists Group, an artist cooperative in Natomas, Sacramento, CA and have been actively participating in the monthly group show.
I particularly like the effect of light on water and objects. Seas, rivers and landscapes are favorite subjects. I derive pleasure and fulfillment when I am able to convey a sense of personal connection through my work.
